Master Job Interviewing Skills:  After 911 in 2001, many clients of The Speech Improvement Company (TSIC) were out of work. To respond to this shift in the economy, TSIC created a 2 hour workshop open to the general public and free of charge to teach people how to master job interviewing skills. This public service had become popular and private presentations were requested by many networking groups in the region. TSIC continued to offer this service for years to come as a way to give back to the business community. This video is a recording of a network group in Massachusetts in 2004. The video is a condensed version of the longer program designed to teach people to master job interviewing skills and includes some key tools and concepts that professionals should keep in mind when looking to communicate with a potential employer.  The presenter in this video is Dr. Ethan F. Becker

Why is the Listener so Important?

Just as breakfast is often considered the most important meal of the day, analyzing who is listening to us speak is one of the most important parts of speech preparation. Unfortunately, as with breakfast, analyzing who is listening to them is a step speakers often skip. Generally, when an executive is asked to be on a panel, give a keynote, appear on a podcast, or even present to a board of directors, they go straight
