As a speaker, Dr. Becker has appeared before hundreds of clubs and organizations, from local community groups to national associations. He’s been featured on radio and television programs as a guest expert or motivational speaker. He hosted a syndicated radio series, called Talking About Talking. Dr. Becker has also taught at both Harvard and MIT.

One of Dr. Becker’s greatest accomplishments is founding America’s oldest speech coaching and communication firm, and he’s extremely proud of his TSIC staff who have become his second family.
Dennis founded TSIC in 1964 with his wife, Dr. Paula Borkum Becker, a new category of business – speech improvement. With over 51 years of experience, TSIC has trained and coached nearly one million men and women all over the world. Clients range from large corporations to small companies, media personalities, politicians, professional athletes, entrepreneurs, business professionals, celebrities, and individuals.
Dennis was President of the Massachusetts Speech Assn. and President of The New England Speech Assn., an active member of The Speech Association of America, The Speech Communication Association, and The National Communication Association where he co-authored the national Best Practices for Communication Trainers and Consultants. Dr. Becker completed his undergraduate degree in Speech Communication and Broadcasting at Emerson College in Boston, his Masters in Rhetoric and Public Address at Emerson, and went on to earn his Ph.D. in Media Communication from The Union Graduate School in Cincinnati, Ohio.
