Karin brings a wealth of experience to her profession. Her career in international organizations, ranging from the European Commission to the UN, makes her uniquely positioned to advise clients on conflict resolution and cultural differences in communication, whether stemming from geography or organizational structure.
Karin spent a decade in higher education, helping bridge the communication divide between academia and business. She’s also a former adjunct professor in psychology and sociology and a certified yoga instructor. She applies her understanding of human emotion and behavior to all of her client interactions.
She has done research and produced publications on work-life policies, including workplace flexibility. She delivers a thorough understanding of the challenges facing professional women, and she enjoys helping coach them to become more confident and assertive speakers. Karin firmly believes in experiential learning and likes to implement interactive exercises and modeling as elements of her workshops and coaching sessions.
Karin spent a decade in higher education, helping bridge the communication divide between academia and business. She established the Global Workforce Roundtable at the Center for Work and Family at Boston College and forged relationships between academics and business leaders at the Office of Corporate Relations at Boston University. Karin is a former adjunct professor in psychology and sociology. She is also a certified yoga instructor.
Karin completed her MBA at the Stockholm School of Economics and holds an MA in Psychology from SDSU in California. She has trained with the College of Executive Coaching and holds a Certificate of Adult Education Teaching from NYU.
