If you are experienced working in an academic setting and would like to advance your career to a new and challenging environment, we would like to speak with you. The Speech Improvement Company (TSIC) is the oldest and most established communication training/coaching firm in the USA. We were founded in 1964 by Dr. Paula Borkum Becker, Speech-Language Pathologist along with her husband, Dr. Dennis Becker.
You will work from home, helping clients who are primarily executives at companies large and small who are seeking to strengthen their communication abilities for improved leadership, public speaking, sales, customer service, and accent reduction. You will be part of a team of Executive Communication Coaches who have similar skill sets. You may be the only SLP member of that team, and your work will involve clients from around the world.
You’ll learn our curriculum, and working with our business staff, develop your own clientele. We will teach you how to use your foundational knowledge to quickly identify areas of need and help your clients strengthen their communication. Our coaches often become a trusted advisor on topics ranging from the mechanics of speech, to accent modification, to the psychology of communication.
