Looking for a Communication Coach
The Speech Improvement Company is currently searching for a current or former forensics coach based anywhere in the USA. While we will train the right candidate, this is not an entry-level job. It requires knowledge of adult learning and development as well as proven competency across the myriad of human and technological communication channels. The person selected will consult, coach and deliver highly customized training and coaching to executives and teams who are experiencing real-world communication challenges.
In fact, we know that former coaches are a great fit because we have 2 NSDA members who are on our team: Dr. Ian Turnipseed and Dr. Chas Womelsdorf. They have both been very successful making the transition to an Executive Communication Coach.
If you are a communication-related professional who would like to translate their experience to working with adults, we would like to meet with you. We are looking for a mature individual with an advanced degree (in any field) and experience in some aspect of speech communication.
A successful coach enjoys working hard and will be dedicated, have integrity, and the ability to build a client base. You do have to sell. If that is new to you, we will train you how to find potential clients, build relationships, bring in the work, and deliver the resulting training and coaching.
The Speech Improvement Company’s home office is located outside Boston, MA. You can work remotely, but successful candidates must be located in the USA. The position will begin with a paid, six-month part-time development period during which the coach will learn, practice, and demonstrate the communication curriculum, tools, and techniques we’ve refined over our 60 years. Once milestones are met within or by the end of the development period, the candidate will become a full-time Communication Coach.
