Who is Tori Hollingworth?

According to Tori, the key to effective communication is realizing that it’s not all about you. It is about making a connection and having an impact on your listener. The moments in her career that truly stand out are hearing from former clients who tell her how she’s helped them succeed – whether it’s getting a promotion, winning an account, or overcoming an acute fear of speaking.


Tori became a speech coach because it combines two of her greatest passions: helping people and improving communication. She cannot imagine doing anything else professionally.

 

With nearly two decades of coaching experience, Tori develops, leads, and teaches comprehensive communications training and coaching programs for both the nonprofit and for profit sectors. Tori genuinely cares about the success of her clients and their effectiveness in the workplace. She enjoys helping them remove the communication barriers that are keeping them from reaching their goals.

 

Whether coaching one-on-one or facilitating a large group, Tori is recognized for utilizing her diverse communication knowledge to focus on pragmatic approaches to public speaking, handing difficult conversations, establishing trust in business relationships, corporate storytelling, leadership development, and communicating with impact.

 

Tori is a member of the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).”

 

Work Experience: “After a decade of teaching in academia, Tori served on the Board of Directors as the Membership and Training Director at the Junior League of Greenwich, where she had seven years of leadership experience in various management positions. She was also a Communication Specialist and Presentation Trainer for Victoria Aiello and Associates. In this position, she provided presentation training, fear of speaking and effective email training.

Tori received her Bachelor of Science in Speech Communication with a minor in Mass Communication (Cum Laude) from Emerson College in Boston, MA. She also earned her Master of Fine Arts in Writing, Literature, and Publishing from the same college.

 

Tori’s depth of education in Speech Communication and Adult Learning combined with her training experience have helped formed her energetic and interactive coaching style.
