A speech coach is a specialist in the area of communication who helps others to become more comfortable and effective when they speak. Your clients will depend on you to help them develop the skills and behaviors they need to achieve their communication goals. You will coach and train in some of the following topic areas:  Presentation skills, executive communication, leadership communication, customer service, sales presentations, accent reduction and many other forms of speech communication. Our clients range from high profile to no profile, and may include leaders of countries, celebrities, corporate managers, professional athletes, and executives to local community centers, individuals, or other varieties of groups. We want to help anyone who desires to strengthen his or her oral communication skills.

Training will be provided to new coaches.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and contact new clients
• Contribute to the coaching staff
• Work with administrative assistants to follow through paperwork
• Develop and maintain relationships with TSIC clients
• Develop and implement learning plans and coaching sessions with clients
• Manage and maintain client relationships
• Continue education through monthly team development days

Requirements:

A strong candidate has a graduate level education or higher in a speech or communication related area. Related areas could include, psychology, adult learning, training, human resources, political science, rhetoric, speech pathology, and others.
