Founded by Dr. Dennis Becker and Dr. Paula Borkum Becker in 1964, the firm consists of a team of professional speech coaches. We help people to become comfortable, effective speakers. More specifically, we provide consulting, group training, public workshops, and individualized coaching to all clients. We specialize in identifying speaker strengths, areas of need, and strategies for improvement. Our topics of expertise are varied, but include virtually every aspect of human interaction.

We have coached Executives, Managers, Politicians, Celebrities, and Individuals all over the world. We have focused in areas such as formal public speaking, mechanics of speech, fear of speaking, accent reduction, leadership communication, sales communication, customer service, communication strategy, and many more.

To date, the team has written seven books on speaking and communication, as well as provided our clients with audio, video and CD materials. Our books have been translated into five different languages. In addition, we produce the regularly web-cast program "Talking About Talking".
